I’m an elf, what are you?


Otherkin, you may not have heard the term, you may know it well.  There are those among us that do not claim to be human, those that can sense things about people, those who have animal qualities like the reflexes of a cat, those with oddly shaped ears, noses, or eyes, those who are faster then any human should be, and the rest of those who don’t seem to fit in as “Quite Human”.  We call ourselves Otherkin, the Elves, Werewolves, Werecats, Vampires, and other such creatures of this world.

Why admit to something like this?  Why admit to being Christian, or Buddhist, or Wiccan, or anything else? If it is part of who you are, it is part of who you are whether you say it or not, so you might as well say what you are.  We are as much what we claim to be as any religion claiming person is what they claim…

How do you know if you “are not human”?   That’s easy...  do you ever feel out of place saying “human” in reference to yourself?  Ever feel like you relate to cats, dogs, snakes, whatever better then humans?  If you said yes to any of these you may want to research OTHERKIN .
