Shielding Part 2, The Brick Wall

"The Brick Wall" this is most likely the easiest shield to create, but also can be the hardest to perfect.

Start by visualizing a wall between you and your attacker, make it strong and thick, invulnerable to anything tossed at it. This can take some practice but is not as difficult to do as forming any fancy illusion. This shield, unlike cloaking, can be used against a more advanced person, as well as the casual annoyance. This shield type is also the one to use against most Direct Attacks

Today’s Topic – Shields

Shields, for any psychic this is an important topic, so my next few posts will deal with topic…


A simple type of shield is cloaking, to do this you'll want to form a mental image of what you want to project onto others. You can project yourself as "invisible" or something static (for example, a tree, house, etc...). Whatever you choose, you should have a clear understanding of what the objects energy is like. You'll want to create a shield that emits this same type of energy. The goal isn't to physically make yourself look like a hedge, but rather to get the attacker to glance over you. Send something like "Nothing to see here, just a tree". This may not hide you from someone who is much more skilled then you are, but if you are skilled enough it will stop most annoying attacks, especially those from people just out to “test their muscle”.

Tomorrow I will cover another type of shield, and perhaps some times to use different types of shield.

I’m an elf, what are you?


Otherkin, you may not have heard the term, you may know it well.  There are those among us that do not claim to be human, those that can sense things about people, those who have animal qualities like the reflexes of a cat, those with oddly shaped ears, noses, or eyes, those who are faster then any human should be, and the rest of those who don’t seem to fit in as “Quite Human”.  We call ourselves Otherkin, the Elves, Werewolves, Werecats, Vampires, and other such creatures of this world.

Why admit to something like this?  Why admit to being Christian, or Buddhist, or Wiccan, or anything else? If it is part of who you are, it is part of who you are whether you say it or not, so you might as well say what you are.  We are as much what we claim to be as any religion claiming person is what they claim…

How do you know if you “are not human”?   That’s easy...  do you ever feel out of place saying “human” in reference to yourself?  Ever feel like you relate to cats, dogs, snakes, whatever better then humans?  If you said yes to any of these you may want to research OTHERKIN .

Telepathy – My personal Experiences

I guess I always knew I was different…. I could always sense what people where about to say or do, but it really hit when my best friend and I figured out we could “talk” to each other without saying or signing anything, even over a distance. That was about 19 years ago now, that day where we figured out that we could do that, and to this day we still use it to say things that we want to keep private.

This was also the point where we both really started being “the shoulder to cry on” for most everybody we knew, people quickly figured out that somehow we understood them, and that we always knew just when someone needed a hug or even just a pat on the back…. But there’s a down side to it too, we both tend to pick up on the stress of everybody in the room, or the excitement of everybody in the room, and get all stressed out or fired up ourselves. It’s made us some friends, but it’s also made enemies… those that don’t understand that it’s not evil.

In general, it’s been great all these years once we learned to control it… but the first year or 2 after “unlocking” our abilitys I would not wish on anybody, because it was rough.

Anyway, that’s enough for now, I could say a lot on this, but there’s a lot of really personal stuff that I am not putting here…
